ALL POWER-SONIC Maintenance Free Batteries feature lead calcium expanded grids (lead calcium technology) for improved resistance to corrosion, gassing, and water usage, self-discharge and thermal runaway, all of which limit battery life in conventional lead acid batteries.

Power-Sonic deep cycle PDC range is purpose built for those applications which require regular and consistent cycling (charge and dis-charge). Commonly called deep cycling the oversized negative plates and a specialised paste formulation of the PDC can provide constant power for longer periods of time without shortening the life of the battery.

With a thicker plate design, the Power-Sonic PG range are designed specifically for those critical standby power applications. When you have a requirement for higher discharge, 10 year design life or flame retardant case the PG range is what you require.

All the benefits of the PG range but with the added feature of easy to use front terminal connection. The convenient dimensions paired with the F1 or F2 front terminal connectors allow ease of installation and maintenance when installed in a battery cabinet.

The Power-Sonic range of AGM VRLA batteries are manufactured with Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology for superior performance allowing greater cyclic performance, enhanced overcharge endurance and excellent recovery form over discharge situations.

Power-Sonic PS Series have been evaluated and APPROVED by ActivFire CSIRO. Designed for general purpose standby and light cyclic applications, the Power-Sonic PS range is a great economical option. Featuring all of the excellent Power-Sonic characteristics outlined in the overview, they have been designed as a low lost alternative.
