Sealed Performance Batteries (SPB), an exclusive distributor of Power-Sonic Batteries, today announced their partnership with Darren Knight and Lauretta Shaw, a local Gold Coast team participating in the 2019 ARB Variety 4WD Adventure from Mission Beach Queensland to Darwin via Arnhem Land.
Held between 18 June 2019 and 2 July 2019, the ARB Variety Adventure will take Mr Knight and Ms Shaw on an exhilarating and challenging off-road experience to raise much-needed funds for Aussie kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
Last year’s event raised more than $330,000 with the help of teams from across Australia and with more than 1.3 million dollars’ worth of grants being distributed by Variety each year, every dollar truly counts.
SPB Managing Director, Greg Roberts, said: “The ARB Variety 4WD Adventure is a great event which directly affects the lives of Aussie kids who are disadvantaged”.
“We are proud to be supporting Darren and Lauretta as they seek to raise funds for Variety, we believe that all kids should have the opportunity to be kids and not worry about the stress of being sick”.
As part of the partnership with Mr Knight and Ms Shaw, SPB will be providing Power-Sonic Deep-cycle and Automotive batteries. The batteries provide excellent power that is extremely reliable, giving Mr Knight and Ms Shaw the best possible chance of completing their trip.
